Every creator has a story that hits differently — one that grows out of personal themes, late‑night ideas, and the urge to explore something darker, deeper, and more human. For me, that story became Eden of the Dead, my debut light novel series published through B4 Manga.
This project marks a huge step in my evolution as a storyteller. After years of drawing manga and building worlds visually, I wanted to challenge myself with long‑form prose — something atmospheric, emotional, and cinematic. Eeden of the Dead is the result: a character‑driven survival tale set in a world where hope is scarce, but love and loyalty still matter.
What Is Eden of the Dead About?
Eden of the Dead follows Von and his younger sister May, two survivors living in a subterranean bunker after the world collapses into a zombie‑ravaged wasteland. When May’s health begins to fail and the bunker’s leadership decides she’s no longer “worth the resources,” Von is forced into an impossible choice.
Stay safe underground… or break out into the deadly world above to save the only family he has left.
Driven by a promise to their dying mother, Von chooses escape — stepping into a ruined world filled with danger, mystery, and the faint possibility of a better life beyond the apocalypse.
The series blends:
- Post‑apocalyptic survival
- Emotional, character‑focused storytelling
- Mystery and tension
- Horror elements and world‑building
- A brother’s unwavering devotion
If you enjoy stories that balance heart with horror, this one will hit the mark.
Why This Story Matters to Me
This light novel represents a new creative chapter for me. While manga is my foundation, Eden of the Dead let me explore narrative pacing, internal emotion, and world‑building in a different medium. It’s a story about family, sacrifice, and the fragile hope that keeps people moving forward — themes that resonate deeply with me.
Every chapter is crafted with intention, from the atmosphere to the emotional beats. It’s the kind of story I’ve always wanted to tell.
